2014 Spring Training – POSTPONED DUE TO RAIN

First of all, welcome to spring. It’s about damn time.
Next Sunday’s Spring Training Day will be held at Columbia Field (10th & Cecil B. Moore) BEGINNING at 1:00pm. If you are planning to attend, please RSVP on the facebook event page so we can get a general headcount.
We will have drill stations set up for infielders/outfielders/pitchers. Feel free to spend however much of your time at any of these stations.
Pick up game.
Remember, you must attend a Spring Training Day in order to be entered into the 2014 Draft and to play for the season. So make sure you come to participate in one of the three dates. In addition to it being good practice and a chance to boost your draft stock, this is a great opportunity for the new guys to meet team managers and fellow league members, some of whom will be your teammates, most of whom you will play against this season. You are highly encouraged to come out to all three if you can.
Again, RSVP here!

  1. jose says:

is there a fee for try outs

    • Philadelphia Amateur Baseball says:

There is no fee for tryouts.

However, if you try out and wish to join the league, you must pay your $25 registration fee BEFORE the draft on (4/13) in order to be eligible.
At the draft you must pay at least half ($75) of the $150 dues, with whatever remaining balance due by Opening Day (4/27).
